Roller brushes work great for linear and continuous materials like solid wood flooring, composite flooring, and wall cladding. By applying linear contact pressure either parallel or perpendicular to the feeding path, they deliver fast and efficient edge-to-edge texturing. This makes roller brushes the best choice for creating traditional long-grain directionality and a unique rustic look.

Rotary disc brushes of the wood brushing machine use a multi-head counter-rotating design that moves along overlapping and multi-axis paths. This gives you full coverage brushing. The abrasive filaments reach deep into details like hand-scraped simulated textures, V-grooves, and beveled edges of nested panels. Rotary disc brushes are a must-have for complex furniture parts or flooring that needs three-dimensional, shadow-free sanding.

When processing different wood species on the same machine, or switching between raw wood texturing and primer sanding, using the wrong consumables can damage the material. The wrong dealing causes serious discoloration and color bleeding under water-based finishes.

For intermediate sanding, primer sanding, and deburring: Switch completely to Tynex or ceramic abrasive embedded filaments. This prevents wood grain polishing and keeps the surface perfectly clean.
